Thank you Colleen. I am so happy you really get it. I am thinking about paths and pathways and hoped that this brought that to mind.

Besides My floor cloth work, I work on fine art prints that are Intaglio and also mixed print media. The subject matter ranges from pure mark-making to the representational and the symbolic. One of these days, I will have a web site.

also, this golden ochre background really sets the piece off nicely.

I think of this particular time, when I had jsut had a terrible experience on the Toronto streetcar. I was needing some respite from thinking of what had jsut happened. (it was half extremely comical and half horrifying)

I had discovered this long line of ginkgo trees in the median of University avenue. I walked amoung the trees, who were in process of losing their leaves. Some were fresh and golden. Others were worn and darkened. This floor cloth reminds me of the paved walk, covered in these ginkgo leaves.
